Kriss transformed my small garden from a mini wilderness to a very smart, low-maintenance garden to be proud of, in three short weeks.
Kriss managed my project from start to finish and set out a clear plan for each phase of the work, which he shared with me so that I knew exactly what was happening.
This entailed cutting down and removing six very old and diseased trees and completely clearing the garden. He also removed and replaced an old party fence before proceeding to build my new garden.
He had a clear vision for my garden, understood just what I wanted and how this could be achieved and set about to design and create it. This involved soft landscaping, replacing two lawns, planting new trees and shrubs and pressure washing all paved areas.
Kriss loves his job, takes a pride in his work and puts everything into it:
• He listened to what I wanted. After the initial consultation he provided estimates for the different phases of the project. Kriss was always very clear about costings and charges for labour.
• He had very good ideas and gave sound advice on the best layout for the garden and methods and strategies to ensure low maintenance. He also suggested suitable trees and shrubs, bearing in mind the aspect of the site and the type of soil. Kriss knew exactly what would work in my garden!
• It was clear that Kriss had all the training and skills necessary for the job.
• Although he had a young assistant working alongside him most of the time, Kriss was always hands on and personally involved with every aspect of the work throughout the project.
• A very good time keeper, Kriss was totally reliable and punctual – always coming when he said he would and never letting me down.
• He worked very quickly and tirelessly with hardly any breaks.
• Kriss is very positive, friendly, polite and approachable. He is also a very good communicator who relates well to customers and negotiates effectively with neighbours.
• Kriss left the site clean and tidy at the end of each working day.
The finished garden has exceeded my expectations in every respect. I would not hesitate to employ Kriss again and I can recommend his business with every confidence.
